Based on the article ‘Blurring Life and Work’ (2021) from Lili Lin. The article explores the mistreatment and modern solutions for young middle-class women in Shanghai.

‘Disparity’ is a printed publication that demonstrates a series of themes of gender inequality, as well as unforgiving and unfair work environments. The publication was approached in a ‘scrapbook-like’ appearance, as the decorative assets and violent designs are messily put together to suit the concepts and ideas of inequality, imbalance, and inconsistency to best execute the dark reality of young middle-class women who enter the workforce in Shanghai.
